Grading Day & Competition

On Sunday 23rd March 2025 we are holding our first official Grading Day.
Prior to the junior and adult gradings we are holding a little competition. This is purely on a voluntary basis and will give our students an opportunity to showcase their progress and skills. Everyone will be matched up as fairly as possible and for the juniors we will be limiting the intensity to a level suitable for their age and experience.
Although totally optional and voluntary, we would highly encourage you to give it a go/sign up your kids as a lot can be learnt from even a friendly competition like this. Family are welcome to watch!
Both the competition and grading is totally FREE of charge. Please register at reception ASAP. Deadline for registrations are Friday 21st.
The junior competition will start at 9:30am followed by grading. The adult competition will start at 11am followed by grading.
This is our first run at this so although we will try our best to stick to schedule, please be gentle with us 🙏
Going forward, once membership numbers are up, we are planning on having Roger Gracie join us for each grading day.
In the late afternoon/evening, we are booking some tables and going for a team curry. All are welcome! Feel free to bring partners, friends etc. We are taking a £10 (cash only) deposit at reception to be sure of numbers before we book.
